Gold
Gold is the higher analogue of yellow. It should be visualised as the colour of marigold petals if you are referring to the non-metallic kind of gold. It's a powerful healing colour, containing a great deal of energy similar to that which runs through the Solar Plexus Chakra, situated in the diaphragm. This is regarded as the 'power' centre.
Gold tones are connected with higher level teaching - so matters relating to spirit, ethics and 'rightness'. It's very much a teaching colour, and you'll often see it in the aura of spiritual teachers.
Gold also contains a powerful healing agent, and is useful in dispelling depression, pessimism and negativity.
It's also very helpful to convalescents and to those peope who habitually work with the ill. It brings cheerfulness, stability and a sense of heightened energy, along with the ability to direct the willpower in a concentrated stream.
