Arise anew as a child of the dawn
Remember whence you came
Walk lightly, leaving whispers for footprints
And shine, refreshed in your rebirth

I don't make resolutions, I find they never last and are a waste of time. Plus I tend not to be shy about changing things anyway. I just get on with it.

No new years resolutions here either..

I have some goals apart from that.
And trying out technics that so far I haven't, as in i'm rather introverted..
trying stuff extroverted friends would do in similar situation
might just work, while my old routine hasn't..

though i'm struggling with the fact I feel I oughtta change a lot,
and be constantly aware of what I choose to do..
while also I need to mellow down and don't make such a fuzz..
sigh..

Seeds, I know what you mean. For years I had this character in my head, my alter ego. She would do and say all the things I wanted to say but was far to shy to say. Then I emigrated and slowly she became me, but that only happened once I made the decision to change. It's taken a long time but you'll get there. Just figure out the kind of person you want to be and make small steps to getting there, just don't forget yourself along the way.

Had a talk with a good friend, on staying motivated, creating commitment..
Now doing groundwork & getting my reasons on paper: why do I want this change and keep it up?
the more, the better..
..and knowing myself and what also works for me: I'll go and find pictures to visualize it better when old habits wanna drop in ;-)
fits with the Card of the Day too, I noticed.. put energy into careful planning! ^-^

How do you keep yourself motivated?
all idea's welcome.. thnx!
