7 of DiscsThis is one of my blindspot cards, even after studying the descriptions and working with it. Can anyone offer some insights on what this card has meant to them personally? Thank you!
Love, wish xo
Re: 7 of DiscsThe 7 represents stepping back and thinking about all you've achieved, waiting for your harvest to come in. That time between fruit appearing on the plant as a result of time and nature and your hard work, and waiting for it to actually ripen. You know it's coming you just have to wait.
The key to this is work. If you haven't done any, you won't get anything back. It's also a spiritual number, which represents taking some time out to think about where you're going next and to restore your inner balance a bit. All the later pents until the 10 I find show some difficulty with relating to, or distance from, people, but the higher the number the easier it is for the person to cope with. Kriss
Re: 7 of DiscsThanks, Kriss.
About this:
You are saying that this is one of those "karma" cards? In other words, the fruit will not ripen if the querent hasn't put in the work? A bounty is forthcoming, but only in direct proportion to the work put in... Only the querent can know how much will ripen. Perhaps hints of the reward (or lack thereof) would be informed by the surrounding cards. This is really interesting:
Yes, the RW image for the 8 shows someone immersed in solitary labor. The 9 shows someone enjoying the fruits of her labor alone in a garden. And the 10 is that rather confusing mix of people and animals not quite connecting to one another in the town square. That makes a lot of sense! Love, wish xo
Re: 7 of DiscsYou have to plant things in the first place, look after the plants, make sure they don't die. You'll only get so far by letting things develop as they will.

Re: 7 of DiscsI've known the card to mean "things in process". That there are things that may be unseen by me that are going on that will affect the situation or the result I am looking for. So maybe don't judge the book by its cover (at this time)...there are some chapters still being (re)written. But that has not always made sense in the context of a reading...honestly I kind of cringe when this card comes up...cuz it is awfully confusing to me what it means.
