moving house, and worried about the visitor cat...

Postby newroser » 07 Jun 2015, 21:05

Hi everybody!

It has been AAAAAGES since I was here. The usual combo of things -dropped the computer, took a while to buy a new one, yada yada. But I see things have been ticking along great looking at all the interesting threads!

So, the latest for me is I'm soon to move home. Ive been in my current house for about 3 years, and 1.5 of those Ive had a Visitor Cat. I dont feed him (unless I'm cooking) even though he's very skinny and asks very loudly. But we do play lots, and he sleeps on my sofa most mornings and evenings - some times all night if its raining. And he hangs out with me all day weekends.

I know he's chipped - I took him to the vet ready to adopt him officially but he has 'legal owners'. And my new rental doesnt take pets.

Soo, given he's thin, and scruffy, and looking to hang out and play at my house all the time, I'm worried he wont have the attention and care I give him when Ive gone and he'll be quite neglected and sad. He must get food at his legal home - although judging by the regular half rats and mice I find on the garden he's getting 'takeaway' quite often too.

Ive tried projecting the message to him that I love him lots, and I'm going away, but not to leave him behind but because I cant take him with me. But he shows no signs of 'getting it'. I'm so worried about him :(

Can anyone here do animal communicating? I'd feel so much better knowing he a) understand and b) will be ok...

Thanks ever so
xxx

Hey, indeed, long time no see..
(but we miss more folks, Indem has been away way long too; though he studies & helps teaching, so doubly busy..)

Do you meditate?
Your higher self can give him the message, animals are very susceptible for such, more than we grown ups usually

apart from that, it might be wise to put energy into the next person in your old place:
* may he/she adore cats
* may he/she treat the cat with love and respect
* may he /she make sure the animal is free from suffering
and remember, cats are very smart. They know where to get food and who to go to.

btw: The cat being so skinny can be a flea thing; we had a cat, well nurtured, but never increased in weight
all kinda stuff in the belly, which comes along with even just some flea's can upset the tummy so,
that nutrients are not taken in as well..

:hello:

Hope your move goes well,
and you settle in with ease
having a new Home in no time ^-^

Thanks for that. Ive been asking my higher self to get the message across. I'll do a dream request tonight too.

I dont know if its just my worry but he's picking up on but he's here more than ever - I'll do some cutting of the cords to help from my end. If I can also get some amplification of the 'much love, change of territory, you stay with your territory' message then I think that would be much appreciated!

Thanks heeeaps

xx

oh.. as for rats and mice.. My experience is, cats do know gratitude..
Our cat used to give us mice from time to time, left them on our porch
She never ate any.

When the neighbours took care, due to holidays, suddenly they got such nice presents too ^-^

Hi all

So, the move is happening next weekend. Visitor Cat is being very present, shall we say. ;) I'm going to do some more cut the cords tonight to help things shift, so its not just my undue worry thats causing the apparent clinginess - working with the idea that our animals reflect back our energy/emotional state. In the meantime, if I can borrow some energy and amplify the 'you are very loved, and I'm just changing territory, you stay with your territory, and thank you for your company, your are wonderful' kind of message that would be awesome!

With many thanks xxxx

if she can't take care of herself, indeed..
though having companionship is always a great bonus!
