Ten of Swords as an ambition/goal.

Postby sleepy » 26 Jul 2017, 13:51

Good afternoon,

I've got the 10 Swords in a position for ambitions/goals in a mandala spread. Given the other cards it is read with, 9 Cups (Self) Emperor (Real Achievements) and Empress (Strengths and Positive traits), I'm seeing it as culmination of work, reaping of what's been sown, someone wanting to get the chance enjoy what they've worked for.

I'm not sure about this though, it doesn't feel right looking at it from a negative aspect, though this feels like it fits, but I still feel there is something I'm missing.

Cheers
Sleepy

When you learn that our lives are a sequence of repeating patterns, it makes it easier to do something about it.

Hey Sleepy! Hello.

Mmmm.....in the absence of the rest of the cards in the reading I am going to hazard a guess that the point here is - as you say, the current goal has been accomplished and there is a chance you might miss the boost that comes from giving you the satisfaction and inner growth that comes from sitting back and feeling good about yourself. I'd also suspect that what you THINK is next on your tick list is not. That said, though, this is a really good time to take that 10 out of your deck, and draw three clarfying cards with the thought that you need greater insight into its meaning?

Thanks Jan, I'll give that a go :) Given some of the other cards, I think there's a waryness about the person concerened.
