new purchases

Postby serendipity » 11 Jan 2013, 17:02

Had some money left over from a xmas gift so wandered to my friend's shop and ended up buying a couple of new crystals.

They had just got in (and they hardly ever stock it) some Blue Topaz. Tiny wee stone but so lovely - loved the description of its properties. We tipped the stones out onto white paper and this was the only one that was v blue in colour...

And I also bought some Blue Chalcedony. It caught my eye ( was in one of the display cabinets) and according to my friend a woman had almost bought it earlier in the day but changed her mind -she put it back so I could have it, according to my friend ;)

Blue is my favourite colour so I do have a tendency to favour anything in that shade - am also a Cancerian/water baby

Does anyone else have these stones? How did you find them/work with them?

x

I love hematite, I've always been drawn to hematite. I bought some hematite beads and have made myself a bracelet with other beads for protection. I love turquoise as well but hematite is my favourite.

I have some hematite which was great when I had a bit of a rough patch in October...

... Just had some weirdness there though... Was in the spare room briefly and I could smell men's aftershave really strongly. Like someone was really close to me for about 30 seconds or so and then it went away...

strange...

hematite is so grounding and gives me such strength. Love it.

Strange, do you know why?

nope... it's a room I only use for when guests come to stay or for storage and I went in today and there was a smell of aftershave - not old man cologne but a more modern scent. Was really strong in the corner of the room for about 30s and then disappeared. No aftershave kept in the house. Bizarre...

Mm, sounds like you have a visitor. I have that with floral perfume sometimes in my room. It's like it wafts past me and yet I don't sense anybody there.

I wonder who it could be? Well at least they have good taste in aftershave

I have specimens of both these stones. The topaz is so steady and energising. Kickstarts my writing when I dry up along with the amethyst bed ity sits upon on my desk. The chalcedony is my "help me remember what I forgot" stone - bit erratic in what it throws up though ;-)

Loadsa love

I'm intrigued by the topaz... so pretty :D

Also what is your experience with gold calcite Jan? Got some early December and all these good) things started happening the evening I got it. So carrying it around with me everywhere now!
