I have no idea why - but I have a really deep need for this stone right now. I am working very hard - some of that is repetitive and just organisational, some of it requires new writing, some of it puts me on my contacts to read.....

Any idea why I feel utterly bereft if I put my selenite down (cos I do)? And also....if I put it in my left pocket I concentrate better. If I put it in my right pocket I take off to where I need to be to read better.....how dangerous is it having a bit in each pocket?

.. I wouldn't know
But an honest question than.. would it matter front or back pocket?
(that is for I'm now starting to feel differences in body respons, chakra's along the spine (and spine), or chakra in my chest area/front)

selenite is very basically directional white light. it has very angelic properties that are soothing.

safe to have in each pocket, especially for what you are using it for. it would strengthen the aura without... *searches mind for word*... solidifying it. create some flow from sacral to upper chakras. having some in each pocket is helping create a circuit up and down each side of the body. if you were placing it on the upper chakras directly now you'd likely find yourself too "out there" to write.

Aha....jolly good.

Thanks Kelle!

Seeds, front pockets - I don't have back pockets very often. Love the new avatar BTW....

hello,

i bought a tiny piece of selenite recently, only because it kept falling off the shelf in the shop so i thought id better take
notice and take it home, i also have had a strong urge to place it around my 16 wk old baby, i think of it as his stone :)

i found some selenite on my local beach recently, its very soft and crumbles.

i read on another site about most selenite coming from corrupt sources or been in contact with someone with "the touch"

i have no idea what this means.

can anybody help

hi Jan, everyone,

yes, I've been wanting selenite too for awhile now. Looking up where to find it online.
I prefer rough uncut crystals not tumbled. I'm not sure why.
Selenite is so pretty.

I recently bought calcite. Very pretty. I found a local store not too far called Akasha's Den.

what i've recently started to like alot about Selenite is the way (she?) reflects the sunlight, especialy if its a little dark in the room. i keep her near the eastern window with the blinds mostly down.

the word Selini in greek means 'full moon', interestingly!
