amethyst + fluorite

Postby wishinglove » 26 Jul 2011, 14:52

Hi All,

Amethyst is a stone that is always around me. For the past year, I have also had fluorite close at hand. Does anyone have any information on how amethyst and fluorite work together? I've learned from this forum that fluorite and rose quartz make good partners, so now I am curious about fluorite and amethyst. Thank you!

love,

I have a bed of amethyst on my desk which plays footsy with any other crystals there at the time. For example it and my malachite are very pally. But it sends my fluorite wand to the other side of my monitor. Goodness only know how it achieved it this last time cos my desk is currently a large heap of decks, papers and books....but I put it by the amethyst before I went to bed last night, and this morning the wand was sitting patiently right to the far side of my monitor again, whilst the malachit had gone and cosied back it to the amethyst....

Not sure what that means....

Ha! Now that is very interesting. I seem to remember you posting a picture of your amethyst cluster snuggled up to your malachite a couple years back. Today when I tried to bring a piece of amethyst close to the fluorite, my hand automatically placed the amethyst back at a distance. It's almost as if they exude individual properties which are best not mixed.

see physically, the combination is very cleansing and reduces excess fluids... spiritually, the theme is mastery of one's own consciousness. in theory they should get along quite well...

Kelle,

Thanks for the info on how these two work together. Maybe it is something to do with the work setting that is keeping them apart? I'll try them together again....

The fluorite piece in question contains a couple shades of purple (ranging from lavender to rich purple), a whitish band, and a very pleasing sea green. How to describe its shape? It's a small rectangular-like slab, 1.5 inches long, .5 inch wide. One end is broader than the other and comes to a point.

Love,

ok, rainbow fluorite then. the combination and the shape would certainly be about mastery then. i would say use the amethyst at the blunt end of the fluorite. and know that fluorites are a bit.... mm, haughty ;-) they dont think they need any "help" doing what they do. they also love to run away and transmute.

haha! That's a perfect description. I will try the amethyst at the blunt end of the fluorite. I really appreciate your knowledge on this!
