"Which cards mean pregnancy when they come up in a reading? Can you tell the gender?"

Jan replies:
On this subject of pregnancy, the Ace of Wands is a safer indicator of pregnancy or new life beginning than the Ace of Disks - a card most people tend to associate with new birth. In fact, the Ace of Disks very often indicates the start of a new material or business project rather than a baby.

There is no foolproof way of figuring pregnancy, but the best combination I have ever found was Princess Disks/Ace Wands/Empress.....this one has never yet failed to produce children.....and later in a reading a Page or a Prince or Princess that has not showed beforehand.

Of course on traditional decks you cannot be sure of the sex of the child - time to get the ring on the bit of cotton! The only way that this one works is if you are using a modern deck with Princes and Princesses, in which case you'll generally find high energy power cards like the Sun and Aces followed by one of the minor courts - which will indicate the sex and general core character.
