Pink

Pink is not just for girls...it's for fun! In the strong vivid tones this colour brings a sparkling fizzy energy in with it. It exhilerates and stimulates, tickling our 'fun' muscle and exciting us. It's a terrific colour for the party mood.

It maintains all the dynamic energy of red but pulls away from the very deep instincts, and touches instead on our need for joy and laughter. It demands attention in the same way as its root true colour, but leaves the raw emotion behind.

In paler tones it is comforting, gentle and supportive. Pale pinks create a sense of warmth and a steady flow of life-force energy. They can be very useful where a person is recovering from illness, or from mental and emotional trauma, once the shock has dissipated.

Whilst still earthing you down, because of the link to red and physical life, pink allows you to relax and 'float'. It mixes well with vernal and pale greens to give a gentle but active environment, though when you put pale pink with pale blue, you tend to drift off into never never land.....
