Tarot Decks and Sets

Price includes shipping.   This richly illustrated offering from Lo Scarabeo relies heavily on the European art nouveau design tradition. It has a strong floral motif, with highly detailed illustrations.  Sadly my knowledge of the language of flowers is sufficiently remiss for me to be unable to tell you whether the flowers are selected to convey additional depth of interpretation.

Price includes shipping.  A gentle and delicately illustrated deck, which was designed to actually 'do away' with the more frightening images in the tarot.   It follows the Rider Waite pattern, with one or two changes here and there.  Definitely one a beginner could work with - especially if they had a little trepidation about running into the Death card.

Price includes shipping.  Colourful and highly detailed deck based on the world of the Fey, depicting their environment, attitudes, and influences.   Fine illustrations lend a new slant to familiar interpretations, broadening understanding.

This is a rework of the Rider Waite deck.  The images are quite similar, though the artwork and hues are much more subtle.  It moves on from the somewhat "sketch" like quality of the RW.  If you are looking for something that follows the general theme, but with more developed artwork, this is probably the one for you.

A muted,  line-drawn artistry marks out this deck, which interprets the activities of daily life of several different Native American tribal traditions.  Since its shaminic roots dictate some quite abrupt deviations from traditional deck design it is probably one for the more experienced reader.

Price includes shipping.  The medieval art style themes the cards.  One thing that struck me on first pass through the deck was the stylised quality of backgrounds and borders.  The Majors – which follow a relatively historic way of approaching the Tarot, all feature a soft golden-brown background which is traced with delicate swirling patterns.
