After a few days of hard slog, we have managed to put up new forums for you all to start using.

Due to a major supply outage, our old server simply died and we lost all our old forums.. gone forever it seems

So, we are starting again with these ones instead. Please register and say hello so we'll feel less upset!

This has ony just come up and I know you'll find stuff wrong while we fix it all this weekend. Mail from here doesn't work yet for a start. If you find anything at alll please please post to this forum so I can get on it. Thank you!

Oh and we'll make it look nice too.

Liam thankyou so much for your unfailing dedication. As I watch the site coming back up again I feel all filled up with a deep sense of excitement and giddiness. You are a wonderful man and I love you very much.

For a little bit I want to use this bit to keep people up to date as we gradually restore the chunks of the site we have lost, and to help them get back to the boards.

Could all moderators please PM me to discuss their boards?

And anybody else who has questions or needs help, PM me or start new topics in this forum please.

Hello! This seems to be working - looks a bit different to the old forums... it's great news that you managed to get the forums working again - the last few days have felt very strange without them

And I've just inadvertently tested the draft function because I pressed the wrong button:-) That seems to be working as well:-)

As it stands at the moment we cannot work out how to resurrect the drive for long enough to retrieve the posts. If that completely defeats us we might have to revert to a backup somewhere...but by that time I'm hoping these forums are cleaner, faster and filling up. we have not yet gone live but we're liable to very shortly despite the fact that we are furiously tweaking...

Seems Pluto jumped on our heads lol....

Hey, will you throw a shoe at me if I ask why the universe decided you needed a tower moment? And I amsupposing it wasn't just because Harley needed to go to bed. I can't imagine such a big crash for such a small technicality.
